Lightweight 2-person free-standing tent with 3-pole aluminum frame, full-coverage fly, dual doors, and vestibule storage. Weighs just 4 lbs 2 oz with factory-sealed seams for reliable weather protection.
The Helix 2-Person is a purpose-built shelter for backpackers and campers who demand reliability without excess weight. This free-standing design requires no stakes or guy-lines to stand—a genuine advantage when camping on hard ground or rock.
The tent features a robust 3-pole aluminum frame using 7000 series poles that balance strength with minimal weight. The fly is constructed from 20D 380T nylon ripstop with 2000 mm silicone/polyurethane coating, providing excellent UV resistance and tautness in variable conditions. The floor uses the same ripstop fabric with a heavier 3000 mm coating for durability and water resistance.
Factory-sealed seams on both fly and floor represent the gold standard in weather protection—no field sealing required. The full-coverage fly design shields the tent completely, while extra guy-out points on the fly allow you to stabilize the shelter in high winds or heavy weather.
Two doors provide convenient access from either side and allow partners to exit without disturbing one another. Mesh walls throughout the tent body maximize ventilation, reducing condensation buildup on cool mornings. Mesh storage pockets keep small items organized and accessible.
A 27.5-inch deep vestibule offers protected storage for boots, packs, and gear while maintaining weather separation from the sleeping area.
7075 aluminum stakes, guy ropes, and all necessary hardware ship with the tent. An optional footprint is available for extended ground protection.
