The Meramac is a practical, lightweight shelter designed for small groups and families seeking reliable protection in the field.
Design and Construction
This tent employs a free-standing two-pole design with shock-corded fiberglass poles, eliminating the need for stakes to establish a stable structure. The 75D 185T polyester fly features a 1500mm coating that resists UV damage and maintains tension in variable conditions. Factory-sealed seams on both the fly and floor provide the best weather protection available in this class.
The floor is constructed from 75D 185T poly taffeta with a 1500mm coating, offering durability and water resistance where it matters most.
Access and Ventilation
Two doors with extra-large #8 zippers provide convenient entry and exit for all occupants. The "single zip operation" design simplifies entry and exit in low-light conditions. A weatherproof fly with ridge pole creates an awning over each door, shedding rain away from the entrance.
Two zippered windows integrated into the doors and large side mesh panels ensure excellent air circulation, reducing condensation and maintaining comfort throughout the night.
Storage and Included Gear
Mesh storage pockets and a gear loft keep small items organized and off the floor. The package includes eight steel stakes and guy ropes for securing the tent in windy conditions.
