Bergara B-14 Ridge: Accuracy Meets Affordability
The Bergara B-14 Ridge represents a straightforward approach to modern hunting rifle design. Built on Bergara's reputation for barrel excellence, this rifle brings proven accuracy to hunters who demand reliability without unnecessary complexity.
Action and Accuracy
The heart of the Ridge is Bergara's two-lug bolt action, engineered for smooth operation and consistent performance. The sliding plate extractor and coned bolt nose ensure reliable feeding and extraction cycle after cycle. The trigger is factory-set to approximately three pounds and delivers the crisp, clean break serious hunters expect.
Barrel and Ballistics
The 24-inch number 5 taper barrel is chambered in 7mm Rem Mag with a 1:9.5 twist rate. The muzzle is threaded 5/8-24 and includes a thread protector, allowing you to add a suppressor or muzzle brake as your hunting needs dictate.
Stock and Handling
The molded American-style synthetic stock features a glass-fiber reinforced polymer construction with a SoftTouch finish for comfortable handling in all weather conditions. The stock is designed for practical hunting use, not bench rest shooting.
