Bergara B-14 Ridge Rifle: Precision Meets Affordability
The Bergara B-14 Ridge represents a commitment to quality that extends from Bergara's custom rifle heritage into an affordable production hunting platform. Built in Spain at Bergara's barrel factory, this rifle delivers craftsmanship and accuracy that punches well above its price point.
Barrel and Action
The heart of the Ridge is Bergara's world-renowned barrel—a #5 4140 CrMo steel tube with a 1-in-10 twist rate, finished in Graphite Black Cerakote. The 22-inch barrel is threaded 5/8×24 to accept muzzle brakes or suppressors, giving you flexibility for your hunting setup.
The B-14 Action is a two-lug system engineered for smooth operation. A sliding plate extractor and coned bolt nose and breech ensure reliable feeding and extraction cycle after cycle. The factory-installed Bergara curved trigger breaks at approximately three pounds—crisp and clean, every shot.
Stock and Ergonomics
The molded synthetic stock is constructed from glass fiber-reinforced polymer with integral epoxy pillars permanently molded into the bedding surface. This design provides a stable, accurate platform for your barreled action. The stock features a dark gray base color with white and black flecks, topped with a SoftTouch coating that provides a secure grip in wet or harsh conditions.
