Bergara B-14 Ridge: Precision Meets Practicality
The Bergara B-14 Ridge represents a significant achievement in modern rifle design—delivering the accuracy standards Bergara is famous for at a price point accessible to serious hunters. This is not a compromise rifle; it is a thoughtfully engineered hunting tool.
Barrel and Action
Bergara's reputation rests on barrel manufacturing excellence, and the B-14 Ridge benefits from that heritage. The 24-inch number 5 taper barrel is threaded 5/8-24" and finished in matte blued, providing both durability and a classic appearance. The barrel is paired with Bergara's smooth two-lug action featuring a sliding plate extractor and coned bolt nose and breech for reliable feeding and extraction.
Trigger and Handling
The Bergara curved trigger is factory-set at approximately three pounds and delivers the crisp, clean break expected from a quality hunting rifle. The American-style synthetic stock is molded from glass-fiber reinforced polymer with a SoftTouch finish, providing weather resistance and a secure grip in field conditions.
