Springfield Armory XD9621 Tactical 45 ACP 5" Pistol

Springfield Armory XD9621 Tactical: The Serious 45 ACP Service Pistol

The XD Tactical 5" represents Springfield Armory's commitment to producing a large-bore, long-slide service pistol engineered for shooters operating under magazine capacity restrictions. This is a serious defensive tool built on proven ergonomic principles.

Safety First

The XD platform combines three independent safety mechanisms:

• Grip Safety: Requires deliberate hand control to fire
• Ultra Safety Assurance (USA) Action Trigger System: Prevents unintended discharge
• Firing Pin Block Safety: Mechanical protection against accidental firing

These systems work together seamlessly, allowing you to carry with confidence.

Built for Durability

The pistol features a forged carbon steel slide and hammer-forged barrel, both finished in Melonite—a proven coating that resists corrosion and wear in harsh environments. The black polymer frame provides a comfortable, durable platform without unnecessary weight.

Practical Features

• Picatinny Rail: Mounted on the dustcover for mounting lights, lasers, or other accessories
• White Dot 3-Dot Sights: Dovetail-mounted for quick target acquisition in varied lighting
• Loaded Chamber Indicator: Visual and tactile confirmation of chambered rounds
• Ambidextrous Magazine Release: Operates smoothly for both left and right-handed shooters
• Striker Status Indicator: Shows at a glance whether the striker is cocked
• Cocking Grooves: Front and rear serrations for positive slide manipulation
