The Savage Rascal: Safety Meets Performance
The Savage Rascal represents the gold standard in youth and beginner rimfire rifles. Designed with safety as the primary concern, this rifle incorporates features that make it ideal for firearm safety training and skill development.
Safety First
The Rascal's most distinctive safety feature is its bolt-cocking design. Shooters cock the rifle by simply lifting the bolt—and critically, the rifle can be completely unloaded without ever pulling the trigger. This fundamental design eliminates a major source of accidental discharge during the learning process.
Built for Accuracy and Control
Trigger Performance: The user-adjustable AccuTrigger delivers a crisp, clean release with zero creep. Adjustment requires no gunsmith—you control the trigger break to suit your preference.
Sighting System: Adjustable peep sights provide precise aiming and help develop proper shooting fundamentals from day one.
Ergonomics: The 11.25-inch length of pull fits younger and smaller-framed shooters comfortably, while the lightweight 2.71-pound package reduces fatigue during extended practice sessions.
