Extraction and Feeding At the heart of this rifle is Ruger's non-rotating Mauser-type controlled round feed extractor—one of the most reliable case extraction systems ever developed. The fixed blade-type ejector positively ejects empty cases as the bolt moves fully rearward, ensuring consistent, trouble-free operation in the field.

Barrel and Accuracy The free-floated, cold hammer-forged stainless steel barrel features 5R rifling at minimum bore and groove dimensions, ensuring consistent accuracy. The 24" barrel with 1:9.5" right-hand twist is optimized for 7mm Rem Mag performance. A factory-installed thread protector (5/8"-24 pattern) is included for future suppressor compatibility.

Trigger and Safety The LC6 trigger delivers smooth, crisp performance right out of the box. The three-position safety allows you to lock the bolt or load and unload with the safety engaged—a practical feature for safe field handling.

Ergonomic Design

The American walnut stock features rounded contours along the barrel, bottom of the stock, and pistol grip. Wrap-around checkering on the grip and forend provides secure handling in all conditions. Sling swivel studs are included for mounting your preferred carry system.

A 20 MOA Picatinny rail is secured with four #8-40 screws, providing increased long-range elevation capabilities beyond traditional integral scope mounts. This rail is machined directly onto the solid-steel receiver for maximum rigidity.
