Ruger American Gen II in 450 Bushmaster features a 20" cold hammer-forged threaded barrel with radial port muzzle brake, Gun Metal Gray Cerakote finish, gray splatter synthetic stock with adjustable length of pull, and Ruger Marksman adjustable trigger.
The Ruger American Rifle Gen II in 450 Bushmaster represents a thoughtful evolution in modern rifle design. This is a rifle engineered for hunters and shooters who demand reliability, accuracy, and honest performance without unnecessary complexity.
The 20-inch barrel is cold hammer-forged for exceptional precision and longevity. A factory-installed radial port muzzle brake tames recoil while the threaded barrel allows for future accessory options. The entire barrel, muzzle brake, receiver, and bolt handle receive a professional Cerakote coating in Gun Metal Gray—a finish that resists wear and simplifies maintenance.
The one-piece bolt is CNC machined from stainless steel with Ruger's familiar three-lug design and a 70-degree throw, providing ample scope clearance and smooth operation. An oversized bolt handle ensures positive manipulation in all conditions.
The Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger offers a crisp, predictable release with user-adjustable pull weight between 3 and 5 pounds. The intuitive three-position tang safety locks the bolt, preventing inadvertent opening while allowing the rifle to be loaded with the safety engaged.
The gray splatter synthetic stock provides excellent grip without sharp edges. A soft rubber recoil pad with progressive collapse geometry reduces felt recoil and features a large radius heel for comfortable shouldering. An installed low comb improves sight alignment with magnified optics but can be removed for low-mounted sights. Length of pull adjusts from 13.75" to 12" by removing the installed spacer.
Ruger's patented Power Bedding integral bedding block system positively locates the receiver and free-floats the barrel for outstanding accuracy. A factory-installed one-piece Picatinny scope base is ready for your optics.
One magazine and steel sling swivel studs come standard. An optional stock weight kit is available to add up to 1.6 pounds to the butt, improving balance and recoil management with heavier muzzle devices.
