Barrel and Action

Cold hammer-forged barrel with deep spiral flutes reduces muzzle weight while maintaining stiffness and accuracy. The medium contour 20" barrel is threaded (5/8x24) and topped with a factory-installed radial port muzzle brake that helps manage recoil impulse.

The one-piece bolt is CNC machined from stainless steel with Ruger's familiar three-lug design and a 70-degree throw that provides excellent scope clearance. An oversized bolt handle facilitates positive manipulation, and the 5/16"-24 thread pattern allows for easy replacement with aftermarket options.

Stock and Ergonomics

The gray splatter-finished synthetic stock offers excellent grip texture without sharp edges. An installed spacer system allows length of pull adjustment from 13.75" down to 12", accommodating shooters of different builds. The low comb improves sight alignment when using magnified optics and can be removed for low-mounted sight systems.

A soft rubber recoil pad with progressive collapse geometry reduces felt recoil while the large heel radius aids shouldering.

Trigger and Safety

The Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger delivers a crisp release with user-adjustable pull weight between 3 and 5 pounds—allowing you to dial in the exact feel you prefer.

A three-position tang safety locks the bolt while still allowing the rifle to be loaded with the safety engaged, providing operational flexibility.

Accuracy Features
