Barrel and Action

The 16.1" medium contour barrel features deep spiral flutes that reduce muzzle weight while maintaining barrel stiffness and accuracy. Cold hammer-forged construction ensures ultra-precise rifling and exceptional longevity. A factory-installed radial port muzzle brake with 5/8x24 threading manages recoil effectively, while the threaded barrel allows for future suppressor or brake modifications.

The one-piece CNC-machined stainless steel bolt uses the familiar three-lug design with a 70-degree throw, providing ample scope clearance and smooth operation. An oversized bolt handle facilitates positive manipulation in all conditions.

Trigger and Safety

The Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger offers a crisp release with user-adjustable pull weight between 3 and 5 pounds, allowing you to dial in the feel that works best for your shooting style. The intuitive three-position tang safety locks the bolt while permitting the rifle to be loaded with the safety engaged.

Stock and Ergonomics

The Flat Dark Earth splatter-finished synthetic stock provides excellent grip texture without being sharp or abrasive. A soft rubber recoil pad with progressive collapse geometry reduces felt recoil while the large heel radius improves shouldering comfort. The removable low comb enhances sight alignment with magnified optics but can be removed for low-mounted sights. Length of pull adjusts from 12" to 13.75" via removable spacers, with additional options available for refined fit.
