Barrel and Action

The 16.1" medium contour barrel features deep spiral flutes that reduce muzzle weight while maintaining barrel stiffness and accuracy. Cold hammer-forged construction ensures ultra-precise rifling and exceptional longevity. A factory-installed radial port muzzle brake is threaded with a 1/2x28 pattern, allowing for easy accessory changes. The barrel wears a professional Cerakote coating for durability and low maintenance.

The one-piece bolt is CNC machined from stainless steel with the familiar three-lug design and 70° throw, providing ample scope clearance and smooth operation. An oversized bolt handle facilitates positive manipulation in all conditions.

Trigger and Safety

The Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger offers a crisp release with user-adjustable pull weight between 3 and 5 pounds—allowing you to tune the rifle to your preference. The three-position tang safety locks the bolt while permitting the rifle to be loaded with the safety engaged, a practical feature for field work.

Stock and Ergonomics

The Flat Dark Earth splatter-finished stock provides excellent grip texture without being sharp or abrasive. A soft rubber recoil pad features a large radius heel for easy shouldering and progressive collapse to reduce felt recoil. The adjustable length of pull ranges from 12" to 13.75" via removable spacers, accommodating shooters of different builds.

The installed low comb improves sight alignment when using magnified optics but can be removed for low-mounted sights. Additional comb options are available for refined fit.

Accuracy Features

Ruger's patented Power Bedding integral bedding block system positively locates the receiver while free-floating the barrel for outstanding accuracy. A factory-installed one-piece Picatinny scope base is included.
