The Ruger American Predator Gen II represents a thoughtful evolution in modern rifle design. Built for shooters who demand accuracy without compromise, this 6mm Creedmoor platform combines proven engineering with practical features that work in the field.

Bolt and Action

The one-piece bolt is CNC machined from stainless steel, featuring the familiar three-lug design with a 70-degree throw. This geometry provides ample scope clearance while maintaining the smooth, reliable operation Ruger is known for. The oversized bolt handle ensures positive manipulation even with gloved hands, and the 5/16"-24 thread pattern allows easy replacement with aftermarket handles.

Barrel and Accuracy

The medium contour barrel is cold hammer-forged for ultra-precise rifling that delivers exceptional accuracy and longevity. Deep spiral flutes reduce muzzle-end weight to improve balance without sacrificing stiffness. The 22" barrel is threaded (5/8x24) with a factory-installed radial port muzzle brake. A durable Cerakote finish on the barrel, muzzle brake, receiver, and bolt handle resists corrosion and simplifies maintenance.

Trigger and Safety

The Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger offers a crisp release with pull weight adjustable between 3 and 5 pounds—letting you dial in the feel that works for your shooting style. The intuitive three-position tang safety locks the bolt while allowing the rifle to be loaded with the safety engaged.

Stock and Ergonomics

The green splatter-finished synthetic stock provides excellent grip without sharp edges. A soft rubber recoil pad features a large radius heel for easy shouldering and progressive collapse that reduces felt recoil. The installed low comb improves sight alignment with magnified optics but can be removed for low-mounted sights. Length of pull adjusts from 13.75" to 12" by removing the installed spacer; additional spacers are available for refined fit.

Bedding and Accuracy

Ruger's patented Power Bedding integral bedding block system positively locates the receiver and free-floats the barrel for outstanding accuracy. A factory-installed one-piece Picatinny scope base is ready for your optic.

What's Included

One magazine and steel sling swivel studs come standard. Optional accessory stock weight kits are available to add up to 1.6 pounds to the butt for improved recoil absorption and balance.
