Why Choose the 856?

This revolver excels in environments where reliability matters most. The .38 Special +P cartridge delivers adequate stopping power for personal defense while remaining manageable for shooters of varying experience levels. The 2-inch barrel strikes a balance between concealability and practical accuracy at defensive distances.

The removable front sight is a thoughtful addition—it accommodates both on-body and off-body carry scenarios without compromising sight functionality. Whether you're training at the range or carrying for protection, the 856 adapts to your needs.

The soft rubber grips and double/single action mechanism work together to make follow-up shots faster and more accurate than many competitors in this class. For those seeking a no-nonsense defensive revolver, the Taurus 856 delivers.
