Ruger American Gen II Predator 350 Legend 22" Burnt Bronze

Ruger American Gen II Predator: Modern Hunting Rifle Excellence

The Ruger American Gen II Predator represents the evolution of a proven platform, engineered specifically for hunters who demand accuracy, reliability, and practical features. Chambered in 350 Legend, this rifle delivers the ballistics needed for medium-game hunting with a cartridge that's gaining rapid acceptance across North America.

Barrel and Accuracy

The 22-inch medium contour barrel features deep spiral fluting that reduces muzzle-end weight while maintaining the stiffness required for consistent accuracy. Cold hammer-forged construction ensures ultra-precise rifling that delivers exceptional accuracy and barrel longevity. The threaded barrel accommodates a factory-installed radial port muzzle brake, allowing for future suppressor installation or brake upgrades.

Power Bedding integral bedding block system positively locates the receiver and free-floats the barrel—a feature that separates quality rifles from ordinary ones. This bedding philosophy has proven itself across thousands of Ruger rifles.

Trigger and Controls

The Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger offers a crisp, predictable release with user-adjustable pull weight between 3 and 5 pounds. This allows you to fine-tune the trigger to your preference without gunsmithing. The three-position tang safety locks the bolt while allowing the rifle to be loaded with the safety engaged—a practical feature for field hunting.

Stock and Ergonomics

The green splatter-finished stock provides excellent grip texture without being sharp or abrasive. The soft rubber recoil pad features a large radius on the heel for comfortable shouldering and progressive collapse that reduces felt recoil. Length of pull is adjustable from 12 to 13.75 inches via installed spacers, accommodating shooters of different builds.

The installed low comb improves sight alignment when using magnified optics but can be removed for low-mounted sights. Additional comb options are available to further refine fit and comfort.

Bolt and Reliability

The one-piece bolt is CNC machined from stainless steel with the familiar three-lug design and 70-degree throw. This provides ample scope clearance and smooth operation. The oversized bolt handle ensures positive manipulation in all conditions, with a 5/16"-24 thread pattern for easy replacement or customization.

Finish and Durability

Professionally applied Cerakote coating on the barrel, muzzle brake, receiver, and bolt handle creates a durable, easy-to-maintain finish that resists corrosion and wear.
