Barrett MRAD SMR .300 Norma Magnum Precision Rifle

Barrett MRAD SMR: Precision Meets Practicality

Barrett's Single Mission Rifle represents a refined approach to modern precision rifle design. Built on the proven MRAD platform, the SMR delivers the same sub-minute-of-angle accuracy in a more focused, lighter package.

Design Philosophy

The SMR differs from the standard MRAD in one fundamental way: it comes from the factory configured for a single caliber. This streamlined approach eliminates unnecessary complexity while maintaining 90% parts commonality with the standard MRAD line. The result is a rifle that's approximately 2.5 pounds lighter and one inch shorter than its modular sibling.

Performance and Handling

The free-floated barrel and precision engineering deliver consistent .75 MOA accuracy. The adjustable cheek piece and length-of-pull spacers allow shooters to dial in the perfect fit, whether you're prone on the range or in tactical positions. The fluted barrel reduces weight without sacrificing rigidity.
