The Safest Introduction to Rifle Shooting
The Savage Rascal represents a fundamental principle: young shooters deserve rifles designed specifically for their needs. This left-hand model delivers on that promise with features that prioritize safety, accuracy, and proper shooting technique.
Safety First
The Rascal's design philosophy centers on safe handling. Shooters cock the rifle by simply lifting the bolt—no trigger pull required. This means unloading is equally straightforward and safe, eliminating a common source of accidents with young marksmen. The manual safety provides an additional layer of protection.
Built for Learning
Full-size rifle features ensure shooters develop proper technique from day one:
- Adjustable peep sights for precision aiming
- User-adjustable AccuTrigger delivers a crisp release with zero creep—no gunsmith required
- 11.25" pull sized for younger shooters
- Single-shot magazine with feed ramp encourages deliberate, focused shooting
