The Weatherby Vanguard Sporter: Tradition Meets Performance
The Weatherby Vanguard Sporter represents a thoughtful marriage of classic rifle aesthetics and modern shooting performance. This is a rifle that respects tradition while delivering the accuracy and reliability today's hunters demand.
Accuracy You Can Count On
Weatherby backs this rifle with a guarantee: sub-MOA accuracy. That means 3-shot groups of .99 inches or less at 100 yards when fired with Weatherby factory or premium ammunition. This level of precision comes from a cold hammer-forged barrel, a manufacturing process that ensures consistent bore dimensions and superior reliability.
Trigger and Controls
The adjustable Match two-stage trigger can be tuned down to 2.5 pounds, giving you the crisp, predictable break serious shooters expect. The 3-position safety provides intuitive operation and security whether you're in the field or at the bench.
Stock and Finish
The Monte Carlo stock is crafted from Grade A Turkish walnut with a satin finish that ages beautifully. A raised comb provides proper cheek weld, while the rosewood forend cap adds a touch of elegance. The matte bead-blasted blued finish on the barrel and receiver resists glare and complements the walnut perfectly.
