Weatherby Vanguard Sporter: Classic Performance Meets Modern Reliability
The Weatherby Vanguard Sporter represents the best of traditional rifle craftsmanship combined with contemporary engineering. This is a rifle built for hunters who understand that a quality firearm should be as beautiful as it is functional.
Accuracy You Can Count On
Weatherby backs every Vanguard Sporter with a sub-MOA accuracy guarantee—delivering 3-shot groups of .99" or less at 100 yards when paired with Weatherby factory or premium ammunition. This level of precision comes from a cold hammer-forged barrel that ensures consistent performance shot after shot.
Trigger and Safety
The adjustable Match two-stage trigger can be fine-tuned down to 2.5 pounds, giving you the crisp, predictable break needed for precision shooting. The 3-position safety provides intuitive, reliable operation in the field.
Classic Walnut Stock
The Monte Carlo stock is crafted from Grade A Turkish walnut with a satin finish, raised comb, and rosewood forend cap. This is genuine wood—not plastic—finished to showcase the natural beauty of the material while providing a comfortable, reliable shooting platform.
