The Weatherby Vanguard Sporter: Tradition Meets Performance
The Weatherby Vanguard Sporter represents a time-honored approach to rifle design—combining the classic elegance of Grade A Turkish walnut with the precision engineering demanded by modern hunters.
Accuracy You Can Count On
Weatherby backs this rifle with a guarantee: sub-MOA accuracy. When fired with Weatherby factory or premium ammunition, the Vanguard Sporter will deliver 3-shot groups of .99 inches or less at 100 yards. This level of precision comes from a cold hammer-forged barrel that ensures consistency shot after shot.
Trigger and Controls
The match-quality two-stage trigger is fully adjustable, allowing you to fine-tune it down to 2.5 pounds for precision shooting. The 3-position safety provides intuitive control and security in the field.
Stock and Finish
The Monte Carlo walnut stock features a satin finish and raised comb for comfortable shooting position. Turkish A-grade walnut with a rosewood forend cap gives this rifle the aesthetic appeal of a classic hunting rifle—one that looks as good in your gun cabinet as it performs in the field.
