The Weatherby Vanguard Sporter represents the marriage of timeless rifle aesthetics with contemporary hunting performance. This is a rifle that respects tradition while delivering the accuracy and reliability demanded by today's serious hunters.
Accuracy You Can Count On
Guaranteed sub-MOA performance — The Vanguard Sporter is engineered to deliver 3-shot groups of .99 inches or less at 100 yards when paired with Weatherby factory or premium ammunition. This level of precision comes from a cold hammer-forged barrel that ensures consistent bore quality and enhanced reliability.
Trigger and Controls
- Adjustable Match two-stage trigger — Fine-tuned down to 2.5 pounds for precision shooting without sacrificing safety
- 3-position safety — Provides secure handling in the field
- Drilled and tapped receiver — Ready for your preferred optics
Stock and Finish
The Turkish A-grade walnut Monte Carlo stock is finished in a satin sheen that reveals the wood's natural character. The raised comb provides proper cheek weld for scope shooting, while the rosewood forend cap adds a touch of classic refinement. This is a rifle that looks as good in a gun cabinet as it performs in the field.
