The Browning Citori CX Micro: Precision Meets Adaptability
The Citori CX Micro represents the pinnacle of over-and-under shotgun design—a firearm engineered for shooters who demand both performance and versatility. Whether you're competing in trap, skeet, or sporting clays, or pursuing game in the field, this shotgun delivers the reliability and balance that serious shooters expect.
Build Quality and Design
Browning's commitment to craftsmanship is evident throughout the CX Micro. The receiver features a polished blued finish with gold accents, while the barrels are polished blued steel with chrome-plated chambers—a critical feature that resists wear from thousands of rounds. The shotgun employs a transverse-mounted, full-width tapered locking bolt that engages matching recesses in the rear barrel lugs, creating a rock-solid lockup. The hinge pin extends fully across the receiver for maximum strength and longevity.
Stock and Fit
The Grade II/III American black walnut stock features a gloss finish that's both beautiful and durable. What sets the CX Micro apart is its adjustable Graco butt pad, which allows you to customize length of pull, toe-in/out, and vertical adjustment. This level of customization ensures the shotgun fits your frame perfectly—critical for consistent shooting and reduced fatigue.
Trigger System and Controls
The Triple Trigger System lets you optimize finger position for maximum comfort and precision. The convenient barrel selector allows you to choose which barrel fires first, giving you control over your shot sequence. Single trigger operation keeps things simple and intuitive.
Recoil Management and Chokes
The Inflex II Recoil Pad significantly reduces felt recoil, making extended shooting sessions more comfortable. The shotgun comes equipped with three Midas Grade extended choke tubes (Full, Modified, Improved Cylinder) for fine-tuning your shot pattern to match your shooting discipline or hunting situation.
