Safariland 578 GLS Pro-Fit Left Hand Holster

Safariland 578 GLS Pro-Fit Holster

The Model 578 brings together two proven technologies: the Grip Lock System (GLS) and SafariSeven material construction. This is a holster designed for shooters who demand both security and accessibility.

Grip Lock System

The GLS automatically secures your firearm when holstered. Release is intuitive and natural—simply apply your middle finger with your standard shooting grip, and the weapon comes free. This means your gun stays secure during movement and activity, yet deploys without conscious thought during presentation.

Pro-Fit Design

The Pro-Fit platform adjusts to fit over 60 different firearms, making this a versatile choice whether you carry a Glock 17, 22, 37, or similar standard-frame handguns. The customizable fit ensures a secure hold across multiple platforms.

Construction & Materials

The holster body is built from SafariSeven, a lightweight nylon blend that offers several practical advantages:

• Completely non-abrasive to your firearm's finish
• Tolerant of extreme temperatures, high and low
• Easy to clean and maintain
• Durable enough for daily carry and training

Wear Options

The 578 includes both an injection-molded paddle and adjustable belt loop attachment. The adjustable belt loop allows cross-draw carry and maximum comfort positioning for your preferred carry method.

This is a holster built for serious shooters who understand that security and speed are not mutually exclusive.
