Safariland 578 GLS Pro-Fit Holster, Flat Dark Earth

Safariland 578 GLS Pro-Fit Holster

The Model 578 GLS Pro-Fit represents a thoughtful approach to everyday carry and duty use. This holster combines two proven technologies into a single, reliable platform.

Grip Lock System (GLS)

The GLS is an innovative retention mechanism that works with your natural shooting grip. When you holster your firearm, the weapon is automatically secured. When you draw, applying your middle finger with a standard shooting grip releases the retention—no additional manipulation required. This intuitive design enhances both safety and speed.

Construction and Materials

The holster body is crafted from SafariSeven, a lightweight nylon blend that represents the state of the art in holster materials. SafariSeven offers several practical advantages:

• Non-abrasive finish — Your firearm's finish remains protected
• Temperature tolerance — Performs reliably in extreme heat and cold
• Low maintenance — Easy to clean and maintain
• Lightweight — Reduces fatigue during extended wear

Carry Options

The 578 comes equipped with both an injection-molded paddle and an adjustable injection-molded belt loop. This flexibility allows you to configure the holster for standard hip carry or cross-draw position, depending on your preference and needs.

Fit

This holster is specifically designed for the CZ 75 and is configured for right-hand draw.
