Safariland 578 GLS Pro-Fit OWB Holster, Right Hand

Safariland 578 GLS Pro-Fit Holster

The Model 578 represents a thoughtful approach to everyday carry security. It combines two proven technologies into a single, reliable platform.

Grip Lock System (GLS)

The GLS is an automatic retention mechanism that secures your firearm the moment it's holstered. Release is intuitive—simply apply your middle finger with your normal shooting grip, and the weapon comes free without fumbling or conscious thought. This is retention done right: secure enough for duty use, natural enough for defensive application.

Construction and Materials

The holster body is crafted from SafariSeven, a lightweight nylon blend that offers several practical advantages:

• Non-abrasive finish — Your firearm's finish remains unmarred through years of use
• Temperature tolerance — Performs reliably in extreme heat and cold
• Low maintenance — Simple to clean and maintain

Carry Options

The holster ships with both an injection-molded paddle mount and an adjustable belt loop, giving you flexibility in how you carry. The adjustable design allows cross-draw positioning if you prefer, and the paddle mount keeps the holster secure without requiring a belt.

Compatibility

Designed for Glock 43 and Springfield XDS pistols.

This is a holster built for shooters who value both security and practicality.
