The MOE SL Handguard represents a thoughtful approach to AR-15 accessory design. Built for mid-length gas systems paired with A2 front sight assemblies, this handguard delivers genuine modularity without unnecessary weight or expense.
Design & Construction
Reinforced polymer construction provides operational durability while keeping weight minimal. An integral riveted aluminum heat shield protects your hands from the hot front sight assembly. The large front extension and lower lip maximize useable handguard length and provide additional protection during shooting.

M-LOK slots positioned at the two, six, and ten o'clock positions accept:

- Other direct-attach M-LOK accessories
Installation & Compatibility
Installation is straightforward—the MOE SL uses your existing delta ring and round front handguard retaining cap. It's a direct replacement for most factory plastic, two-piece mid-length handguards.
Important compatibility notes: This handguard requires a round (not triangular) retaining cap and rear spring-loaded delta ring. It is not compatible with piston-operated AR platforms and must be used with the A2 front sight assembly. If equipped, remove the factory sling swivel from the A2 front sight assembly before installation.
