Installation & Compatibility

The MOE SL installs easily using your existing delta ring and round front handguard retaining cap with A2 front sight assembly. It's a direct replacement for most factory plastic, two-piece mid-length handguards.

Important Compatibility Notes: This handguard requires a round (not triangular) retaining cap and rear spring-loaded delta ring. It is not compatible with piston-operated AR platforms. Must be used with the A2 front sight assembly—other gas blocks are not compatible. If your rifle has a factory sling swivel on the A2 front sight, it must be removed.
