Barrel and Action

The heart of this rifle is its 16.1" medium contour barrel, featuring deep spiral flutes that reduce muzzle weight while maintaining barrel stiffness and accuracy. The cold hammer-forged construction ensures ultra-precise rifling and exceptional longevity. A factory-installed Ruger Hybrid Muzzle Brake with radial ports threads onto the 5/8x24 pattern, managing recoil while keeping the overall package compact.

The one-piece bolt is CNC machined from stainless steel with the familiar three-lug design and 70-degree throw, providing smooth operation and ample scope clearance. An oversized bolt handle ensures positive manipulation in all conditions.

Accuracy and Ergonomics

Ruger's patented Power Bedding integral bedding block system positively locates the receiver while free-floating the barrel—a proven formula for outstanding accuracy. The Marksman Adjustable trigger offers a crisp release with user-adjustable pull weight between 3 and 5 pounds, allowing you to dial in the exact feel you prefer.

The three-position tang safety locks the bolt, preventing inadvertent opening while allowing the rifle to be loaded with the safety engaged.

Stock and Furniture

The splatter-finished synthetic stock provides excellent grip without sharp edges. The soft rubber recoil pad features a large radius heel for easy shouldering and progressive collapse to reduce felt recoil. Length of pull adjusts from 12" to 13.75" via removable spacers, accommodating different shooter builds. The removable low comb improves sight alignment with magnified optics but can be taken off for low-mounted sights.

Finish and Details

Professionally applied Cobalt Cerakote coating on the barrel, muzzle brake, receiver, and bolt handle provides a durable, easy-to-maintain finish in Flat Dark Earth Splatter. A factory-installed one-piece Picatinny scope base is ready for your optics. Steel sling swivel studs come installed.
