Barrel and Action

The 16.1" cold hammer-forged barrel features factory-installed threading and flash suppressor, enabling quick accessory changes while managing recoil signature. The one-piece CNC-machined stainless steel bolt operates with the familiar three-lug design and 70-degree throw, providing ample clearance for mounted optics. An oversized bolt handle ensures positive manipulation even with gloved hands.

Accuracy and Trigger Control

Ruger's Marksman Adjustable trigger offers user-adjustable pull weight between 3 and 5 pounds, allowing you to fine-tune performance to your preference. The patented Power Bedding integral bedding block system positively locates the receiver while free-floating the barrel—a proven formula for consistent accuracy.

Sighting Options

Factory-installed AR-style pin and aperture iron sights provide both elevation and windage adjustment. The rear aperture features two flip-adjustable sizes for near and far distances. A Scout-length scope base comes factory-installed for intermediate eye relief optics, night vision, or thermal imaging devices.

Stock and Ergonomics

The Leaf Green synthetic stock features a splatter finish for secure grip without sharp edges. The soft rubber recoil pad has progressive collapse geometry and a large heel radius for comfortable shouldering. A low comb (included) improves sight alignment with magnified optics but can be removed for iron sight use. Length of pull adjusts from 13.75" to 12" by removing the installed spacer.

Safety and Control

The intuitive three-position tang safety locks the bolt, preventing inadvertent opening while allowing the rifle to be loaded with safety engaged.
