Kicks Gobblin Thunder 12GA Remington Choke .655
NWTF competition-proven turkey choke tube for 12-gauge Remington shotguns. Features conical parallel design with directional diagonal ports for cleaner patterns, reduced recoil, and faster wad separation.
Fits: Remington
Proven Turkey Hunting Performance
The Gobblin Thunder is a two-time winner of the National Wild Turkey Federation still target shoot and Ladies Open Competition. This choke tube transforms standard 12-gauge shotguns into dedicated turkey hunting specialists.
Advanced Porting Design
Kicks chokes feature a distinctive conical parallel design that combines traditional cone constriction with a parallel section approximately 1 inch long where constriction remains constant. This engineering approach is rarely found in competitor chokes.
The signature directional diagonal ports angle at 135 degrees away from the shooter, which:
- Creates sharp forward inside edges that grab, stabilize, and slow the wad
- Produces cleaner shot patterns unaffected by wad interference
- Reduces muzzle jump and recoil for faster, more accurate follow-up shots
- Minimizes side blast—a critical advantage in close-quarters hunting situations like duck blinds and trap fields
- Resist fouling and remain clear through extended use
Practical Design
The external ported section extends approximately 1¾ inches from the muzzle and remains unobtrusive during shooting. The .655 constriction is purpose-built for turkey hunting applications.
Compatible with factory-threaded 10 and 12-gauge barrels, the Gobblin Thunder converts any modern shotgun into a specialized turkey hunting tool.
