Performance and Handling
At 12 pounds, the SMR is approximately 2.5 pounds lighter than the standard MRAD, making it more manageable in the field without compromising rigidity or accuracy. The overall length of 46.5 inches keeps the rifle compact for transport and deployment.
The free-float barrel design isolates the barrel from stock vibration, a fundamental principle in precision rifle design. The adjustable cheek piece and spacer system ensure proper eye alignment with your optic and comfortable shooting position—critical factors for consistent accuracy.
Ideal For
The MRAD SMR suits shooters who value simplicity and weight savings without sacrificing performance. Whether you're pursuing long-range hunting, competing in precision matches, or seeking a reliable duty rifle, this platform delivers.
With 90% parts commonality with the standard MRAD, the SMR integrates seamlessly into the broader MRAD ecosystem, offering familiarity and support.
