Weatherby Vanguard Sporter: Classic Performance Meets Modern Reliability
The Weatherby Vanguard Sporter represents the finest tradition of American rifle craftsmanship. This is a rifle built for hunters who understand that elegance and performance are not mutually exclusive.
Accuracy You Can Depend On
Guaranteed sub-MOA performance — The Vanguard Sporter delivers 3-shot groups of .99" or less at 100 yards when paired with Weatherby factory or premium ammunition. This level of precision is not marketing hyperbole; it is a manufacturer's guarantee. The cold hammer-forged barrel ensures consistent accuracy shot after shot, season after season.
Refined Mechanical Design
- Match two-stage trigger — Adjustable down to 2.5 lbs for precision shooting without sacrificing safety
- 3-position safety — Intuitive and secure, allowing you to move between safe, fire, and half-cock positions
- Drilled and tapped receiver — Ready for your preferred optics mounting system
- #2 threaded barrel — Accommodates suppressors or muzzle devices for your specific hunting needs
Timeless Aesthetics
The Grade A Turkish walnut Monte Carlo stock is finished in satin, revealing the natural beauty of the wood grain. The raised comb provides proper cheek weld for scope shooting, while the rosewood forend cap adds a touch of classic elegance. This is not merely a tool—it is a rifle you will be proud to carry into the field for decades.
