NWTF competition-proven turkey choke tube for 12-gauge Browning Invector Plus barrels. Conical parallel design with directional diagonal ports reduces recoil and wad interference for cleaner patterns.
Fits: Browning Invector Plus
Competition-Proven Turkey Performance
The Kick's Gobblin Thunder is a two-time winner of the NWTF still target shoot and Ladies Open Competition, plus the '98 Jakes competition winner. This proven performer transforms factory-threaded 12-gauge barrels into dedicated turkey hunting specialists.
Advanced Ported Design
Kick's distinctive conical parallel design combines a traditional cone of constriction with a parallel section roughly 1 inch long where constriction remains constant. This unique geometry is paired with directional diagonal ports angled at 135 degrees away from the shooter.
Key Performance Features
- Wad Separation: The diagonal ports create sharp forward inside edges that grab, stabilize, and slow the wad for faster separation from the shot column
- Cleaner Patterns: Reduced wad interference means more consistent, tighter patterns downrange
- Reduced Recoil: The ported design significantly decreases muzzle jump and recoil for faster, more accurate follow-up shots
- Shooter Comfort: The 135-degree port angle minimizes side blast—a major advantage in close-quarters hunting situations like duck blinds and trap fields
- Low Maintenance: Ports stay clear and resist fouling unlike conventional designs
Practical Design
The external ported section extends roughly 1¾ inches from the muzzle and remains unobtrusive during shooting. Fits Browning Invector Plus .680 threaded barrels.
