Kick's Gobblin Thunder 12GA Turkey Choke .680

A Turkey Choke Built for Results

The Kick's Gobblin Thunder represents serious turkey hunting engineering. This choke tube has earned its reputation through competition success, including multiple National Wild Turkey Federation still target wins and Ladies Open Competition victories.

Proven Design Features

Conical Parallel Construction Kick's employs a distinctive design that combines a traditional conical constriction with a parallel section roughly 1 inch in length. This parallel zone maintains constant constriction, a feature rarely found in competing choke designs.

Directional Ported System The choke incorporates angled diagonal ports positioned at 135 degrees away from the shooter. This geometry accomplishes several important goals:

• Creates a sharp forward edge inside the choke that stabilizes and slows the wad
• Promotes faster wad separation from the shot column for cleaner patterns
• Reduces muzzle jump and recoil for quicker, more accurate follow-up shots
• Minimizes side blast—a critical advantage in close-quarters hunting situations
• Maintains port clarity without fouling

Practical Advantages

The external ported section extends approximately 1¾ inches from the muzzle and remains visually unobtrusive during shooting. This choke easily converts standard factory-threaded 10 and 12 gauge barrels into dedicated turkey hunting tools.
