Specialized turkey choke tube for Winchester-threaded 12-gauge barrels. Features conical-parallel design with directional diagonal ports for cleaner patterns, faster wad separation, and reduced recoil.
Purpose-Built Turkey Performance
The Kick's Gobblin Thunder transforms your 12-gauge shotgun into a dedicated turkey hunting tool. This choke tube combines proven engineering with field-tested results, earning multiple wins at NWTF competitions.
Advanced Design Features
Conical-Parallel Construction Unlike standard chokes, the Gobblin Thunder employs a conical taper followed by a parallel section roughly 1 inch in length. This parallel zone maintains constant constriction, delivering superior pattern consistency.
Directional Diagonal Porting The signature feature of Kick's chokes is their angled port design. Positioned at 135 degrees away from the shooter, these ports:
- Create sharp forward edges that stabilize and slow the wad
- Promote faster wad-to-shot separation for cleaner patterns
- Reduce muzzle jump and recoil for quicker follow-up shots
- Minimize side blast—a critical advantage in blinds and tight spaces
- Remain clear and resist fouling
Practical Advantages
The external ported section extends approximately 1¾ inches from the muzzle and remains virtually unnoticeable during shooting. This choke converts most factory-threaded 10 and 12-gauge barrels into specialized turkey hunting platforms without permanent modifications.
Competition Proven
The Gobblin Thunder has earned recognition at the highest levels of competitive turkey shooting, including multiple NWTF still target and ladies competition victories.
