Kick's Gobblin Thunder Turkey Choke 12ga Browning Invector Plus

The Gobblin Thunder Advantage

The Kick's Gobblin Thunder represents a purpose-built approach to turkey hunting. This choke tube combines proven design principles with practical field performance to transform standard shotgun barrels into dedicated turkey hunting tools.

Design Innovation

The Gobblin Thunder employs a conical parallel design that sets it apart from conventional chokes. The parallel section—roughly 1 inch in length—maintains constant constriction throughout, a feature rarely found in competing products. This design principle, combined with Kick's directional diagonal ports, creates a sharp forward edge inside the choke that stabilizes and slows the wad for superior separation from the shot column.

Performance Benefits

Pattern Quality

• Cleaner, more consistent shot patterns unaffected by wad interference
• Directional ports angled at 135 degrees away from the shooter, reducing side blast
• Ports remain clear and resist fouling

Shooter Experience

• Reduced muzzle jump and recoil for faster, more accurate follow-up shots
• External ported section extends roughly 1¾ inches from the muzzle—barely noticeable during shooting
• Minimal side blast makes it ideal for close-quarters hunting and shooting sports

Proven Track Record

The Gobblin Thunder has earned its reputation through competition success, including multiple wins at the NWTF still target shoot and Ladies Open Competition. This choke converts most 10 and 12 gauge factory-threaded barrels into specialized turkey hunting instruments.
