Kick's Gobblin Thunder Turkey Choke Tube 12ga .640

Engineered for Turkey Hunting Excellence

The Kick's Gobblin Thunder represents a proven performer in the turkey hunting world, earning multiple NWTF still target competition victories and recognition in Ladies Open and Jakes competitions. This choke tube transforms standard 12-gauge shotguns into dedicated turkey hunting tools.

Distinctive Design Features

Conical Parallel Design Unlike conventional chokes, the Gobblin Thunder combines a traditional cone of constriction with a parallel section approximately 1 inch long. This parallel zone maintains constant constriction, delivering superior pattern consistency.

Directional Diagonal Ports The choke's defining innovation lies in its angled ports positioned at 135 degrees away from the shooter. This geometry creates a sharp forward inside edge that:

• Grabs and stabilizes the wad
• Accelerates wad separation from the shot column
• Produces cleaner, more consistent patterns
• Reduces muzzle jump and recoil for faster follow-up shots
• Minimizes side blast—a significant advantage in close-quarters hunting scenarios

Practical Advantages

The external ported section extends approximately 1¾ inches from the muzzle and remains visually unobtrusive during shooting. The port design resists fouling and remains clear through extended shooting sessions, unlike conventional ported chokes.
