Kick's Gobblin Thunder 12GA Turkey Choke .660

The Gobblin Thunder Advantage

The Kick's Gobblin Thunder transforms your 12-gauge into a dedicated turkey hunting tool. This choke tube combines proven engineering with field-tested performance to deliver the tight, clean patterns serious turkey hunters demand.

Design Innovation

Kick's distinctive conical parallel design sets this choke apart from conventional options. The cone of constriction flows into a parallel section roughly 1 inch long, where the constriction remains constant. This engineering approach, rarely found in competing chokes, creates measurably superior shot column integrity.

Directional Porting Technology

The hallmark of Kick's chokes is their directional diagonal porting system:

• 135-degree port angle reduces side blast—a critical advantage in close-quarters hunting situations like duck blinds and trap fields
• Sharp forward inside edges grab and stabilize the wad, promoting faster separation from the shot column
• Cleaner patterns unaffected by wad interference
• Reduced muzzle jump and recoil for faster, more accurate follow-up shots
• Self-cleaning design prevents fouling common with conventional ports

The external ported section extends approximately 1¾ inches from the muzzle and remains unobtrusive during shooting.

Proven Performance

The Gobblin Thunder carries credentials earned in competition:

• Two-time winner, NWTF Still Target Shoot (Atlanta, Georgia)
• Two-time winner, NWTF Ladies Open Competition
• 1998 winner, NWTF Jakes Competition
• Multiple Grand Slam hunt victories

Practical Application

This Winchester-threaded choke converts most factory 10 and 12-gauge shotguns into specialized turkey hunting platforms. Installation is straightforward, and the design integrates seamlessly with standard shotgun profiles.

For hunters seeking legitimate performance advantages backed by competition results, the Gobblin Thunder delivers.
