Kick's Gobblin Thunder Turkey Choke Tube 12ga
NWTF competition-proven turkey choke with conical parallel design and directional diagonal ports for cleaner patterns, reduced recoil, and faster follow-up shots.
Gobblin Thunder Turkey Choke Tube
The Kick's Gobblin Thunder is a purpose-built turkey choke that transforms standard shotguns into dedicated turkey hunting tools. This is a choke tube that has proven itself in the field and at the range.
Design Features
The Gobblin Thunder employs Kick's signature conical parallel design—a cone of constriction followed by a parallel section approximately 1 inch long where the constriction remains constant. This design approach is rarely found in competing choke tubes.
The choke incorporates directional diagonal ports angled at 135 degrees away from the shooter. This geometry creates a sharp forward inside edge that grabs, stabilizes, and slows the wad, promoting faster separation between wad and shot column. The result is cleaner, more consistent patterns uncompromised by wad interference.
Performance Benefits
- Cleaner patterns with minimal wad disturbance
- Reduced muzzle jump and recoil for faster, more accurate follow-up shots
- Minimal side blast thanks to the 135-degree port angle—a significant advantage in tight quarters like duck blinds and trap fields
- Self-cleaning ports that resist fouling
- Compact external profile extending roughly 1¾ inches from the muzzle
Competition Pedigree
The Gobblin Thunder is a two-time winner of the NWTF Still Target Shoot in Atlanta, Georgia, and a two-time winner of the NWTF Ladies Open Competition. It also claimed victory in the NWTF Jakes Competition. Kick's chokes have earned numerous Grand Slam hunts.
Compatibility
