Kick's Gobblin Thunder Turkey Choke 10ga Remington .685

Gobblin Thunder Turkey Choke Tube

The Kick's Gobblin Thunder is a purpose-built turkey choke that transforms standard 10-gauge shotguns into dedicated waterfowl and upland hunting tools. This choke has proven itself in competition, earning multiple NWTF still target shoot victories and Ladies Open Competition wins.

Design Features

Conical Parallel Design Unlike conventional chokes, the Gobblin Thunder combines a traditional conical constriction with a parallel section approximately 1 inch in length. This parallel zone maintains constant constriction, delivering superior pattern consistency.

Directional Diagonal Ports The signature feature is Kick's directional diagonal porting system. Angled at 135 degrees away from the shooter, these ports create a sharp forward edge inside the choke that stabilizes and slows the wad. This results in faster wad-to-shot separation and cleaner, more uniform patterns unaffected by wad interference.

The angled port design also reduces muzzle jump and recoil, enabling faster and more accurate follow-up shots—critical in hunting situations. The 135-degree angle minimizes side blast, making this choke ideal for close-quarters shooting in blinds and field conditions.

Practical Advantages

• Extends approximately 1¾ inches from the muzzle—barely noticeable during shooting
• Ports remain clear and resist fouling unlike conventional designs
• Converts factory-threaded 10-gauge barrels into specialized turkey hunting tools
• Proven in competition and field use
