NWTF competition-proven turkey choke with conical parallel design and directional diagonal ports for cleaner patterns, faster wad separation, and reduced recoil on follow-up shots.
The Kick's Gobblin Thunder represents a refined approach to turkey choke design, combining proven engineering with real-world hunting results. This choke has earned its reputation through multiple NWTF still target competition wins and grand slam hunts across North America.
The Gobblin Thunder employs a conical parallel design that sets it apart from conventional chokes. The parallel section—roughly 1 inch in length—maintains constant constriction, a feature rarely found in competing products. This design foundation works in concert with the choke's signature directional diagonal ports.
The diagonal ports angle at 135 degrees away from the shooter, a critical advantage in close-quarters hunting situations such as duck blinds and trap fields. This geometry accomplishes several things:
The external ported section extends approximately 1¾ inches from the muzzle—unobtrusive and unnoticeable during shooting. The choke easily converts most factory-threaded 10 and 12 gauge barrels into dedicated turkey hunting tools without permanent modifications.
The Gobblin Thunder's track record speaks for itself: two-time NWTF still target competition winner, two-time NWTF Ladies Open Competition winner, and 1998 Jakes competition champion.
