Kick's Gobblin Thunder 12GA Turkey Choke .685

Engineered for Turkey Hunting Excellence

The Kick's Gobblin Thunder is a specialized turkey choke tube designed to transform your Mossberg 835 or 935 shotgun into a dedicated turkey hunting machine. This choke has proven itself in competition, earning multiple National Wild Turkey Federation still target shoot victories and Ladies Open Competition wins.

Unique Design Features

Conical Parallel Design Kick's employs a distinctive engineering approach that combines a traditional conical constriction with a parallel section—roughly 1 inch in length—where the constriction remains constant. This hybrid design is rarely found in other choke tubes and contributes to superior pattern consistency.

Directional Diagonal Porting The choke features angled ports positioned at 135 degrees away from the shooter. This geometry accomplishes several important goals:

• Creates sharp forward-facing edges inside the ports that stabilize and slow the wad
• Promotes faster wad and shot column separation for cleaner, tighter patterns
• Reduces muzzle jump and recoil for more accurate follow-up shots
• Minimizes side blast—a significant advantage in close-quarters hunting situations like duck blinds and trap fields
• Resists fouling and stays cleaner than conventionally ported designs

Practical Specifications

The external ported section extends approximately 1¾ inches from the muzzle, remaining unobtrusive during shooting. Compatible with Mossberg factory-threaded barrels (.685 constriction), this choke converts mild-mannered bird guns into serious turkey hunting tools.

The Bottom Line

If you're serious about turkey hunting with a Mossberg 835 or 935, the Gobblin Thunder delivers the pattern density and reliability you need when it matters most.
