Kick's Gobblin Thunder Turkey Choke for Mossberg 12ga

Proven Turkey Hunting Performance

The Kick's Gobblin Thunder represents a refined approach to turkey choke design, combining proven engineering with real-world hunting results. This choke has earned multiple National Wild Turkey Federation still target shoot victories and competition wins, demonstrating its effectiveness in the field.

Superior Choke Design

Kick's employs a conical parallel design that sets it apart from conventional chokes. The design features:

• Conical section for initial shot column compression
• Parallel section (approximately 1 inch) that maintains consistent constriction
• This combination produces cleaner, more uniform patterns

Directional Diagonal Porting System

The choke's distinctive diagonal ports are angled at 135 degrees away from the shooter, creating multiple advantages:

• Sharp forward-facing internal edges that stabilize and slow the wad
• Faster wad-to-shot separation for cleaner patterns
• Reduced muzzle jump and recoil for quicker, more accurate follow-up shots
• Minimal side blast—ideal for confined shooting environments like blinds and trap fields
• Ports remain clear and resist fouling

Practical Field Application

The external ported section extends approximately 1¾ inches from the muzzle and remains unobtrusive during shooting. This choke easily converts standard 12-gauge factory-threaded barrels into dedicated turkey hunting tools, making it an excellent choice for hunters seeking to maximize their existing shotgun investment.
